If you have experienced the death of someone special in your life (either recently or in the past) and would like to explore your grief in a supportive environment, please consider attending a grief support group meeting. We focus on the basic, core questions which arise after the loss of someone close. Grieving includes the processing of the profound feelings one has when they lose someone and the grief support group provides a caring environment to do some of this processing work. Everyone makes their own individual journey after experiencing a loss- many have found that by sharing their journeys with one another, they are strengthened and comforted. All are warmly welcome to attend.
The upcoming monthly grief support meetings will be held on Wednesday May 28th, Thursday, June 26th and Tuesday, August 5th. The meetings are held at the church in the Alliance Parlor from 7:30-9:00pm. No rsvp needed. This is a monthly “drop-in” support group with no long-term commitment required.
