Welcome!

The Winchester Unitarian Society is a vibrant intergenerational community committed to an open-minded approach to religion.  Gathered in 1865, the congregation’s lovely gothic stone building is located right in downtown Winchester.

Inside, you will find a warm and friendly congregation, with worship services and church school every Sunday at 10:30 a.m.  Your participation in Music, Religious Education, Youth Groups, Social Outreach, Small Group Ministry and Fellowship is welcomed and encouraged.

We are a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association, a free faith with roots back to early American congregationalism and a commitment to seeking the wisdom to be found in all the world’s religious traditions.  Members of interfaith families and religious seekers of all backgrounds often say of Unitarian Universalism, “This is the church I’ve been meant to join all my life; I’m so glad I found it!”

Whether you are a long-time Unitarian Universalist or a first time visitor, we welcome you.  Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions or just want to get acquainted.  And explore us through this website as well; there are great things going on here!

Yours in faith,

The Reverend Stephanie Nichols and the Reverend David Boyer
