Thank you Chuck Khuen, James Pidacks, and the Building & Grounds Committee for your amazing work on the new solar array project and the replacement of our failing boiler. By two unanimous votes at our special meeting the congregation has authorized the Standing Committee to pursue a loan needed to complete the funding for the installation of a new solar array and to go to the Meyer Fund to request the necessary funding to replace the boiler. The Standing Committee and Building & Grounds Committee will keep you updated on the progress of these projects. We continue to look for ways to live up to our environmental responsibilities by reducing our carbon footprint. If you have an interest or feel you can contribute in some way to this exciting and important work, reach out to me or someone on the Green Sanctuary or Building & Grounds committee.
