Paying attention is a common thing we need to do in our lives – to a teacher, to a conversation partner, to our children. What does it mean to pay attention in a spiritual sense? To look more deeply at what is going on around us, within us, and beyond us? Animals, and our pets can be particularly good at paying attention – what do we have to learn from them? This service is also our annual “Animal Blessing” service, so if you have a pet who is safe to be in the sanctuary during the service, or a picture of a pet that you’d like to bring to share, please bring them, and check out the article in Highlights for more details on how to partcipate.
