Reason and Reverence – The Fifth Source

The Fifth Source of Unitarian Universalism is “Humanist teachings which counsel us to
heed the guidance of reason and the results of science, and warn us against idolatries
of the mind and spirit.” Along with celebrating the nurturing spirit among us on
Mother’s Day, this service explores spirituality grounded in a belief in human beings,
not a belief in deity.

This Sunday, we share our gifts with the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee,
advancing human rights around the world through grassroots collaboration.

The music this week features the Children’s Chorale, an anthem by former member
Walt Swap, and music by Leonard Bernstein.
