As we continue to explore this month’s theme of “Awakening Curiosity,” our topic for this Sunday is play. Similar to curiosity itself, play has a reputation for being a “kids thing,” which is unfortunate, because grown ups need to play to. Beyond the importance of play as an activity for all ages for our emotional and spiritual wellbeings, there are also countercultural aspects to play that can help us fight capitalism and injustice.
