In his poem Opinion, Baron Wormser asks: What would happen if I heeded the admonitions of beauty? This Sunday let us reflect on how we could answer Wormser’s question, and on the dire consequences of ignoring beauty’s admonitions. Let us reflect also on the several ways we can benefit from bringing beauty to our lives. As theologian Matthew Fox says: Looking for and enjoying beauty is a way to nourish the soul and we could add it is also a way to heal the soul.
